The 30-Day Marathon Begins: 30 Blogs in 30 Days – Just Tonya B. & The ManChild Swagga

Today is the first day of the marathon and I’m very excited to get started. I’ve spent the last couple of weeks telling everyone about the marathon and biggest question has been, “Why are you doing this?”

Not only will this challenge help me improve my writing skills, but I do believe it will also allow me to help others. I’m not a counselor, but I am a daughter, mother, sister, and friend and I’ve done my fair share of free 3am sessions.

It gives me the opportunity to open up more about myself and show another side. By opening up, I am creating a vast plateau for improvement and putting myself in a position to reach greater goals. If I was brave enough to share my story about lupus: Me and My Buddy Lupus, then I can share my story about nearly anything. (Now you know that I’m not going to tell ya’ll everything.) As outgoing as I am, I tend to shelter deeper sides of me and people are often shocked to hear about some of my experiences and my opinions on various matters. This doesn’t mean that I’m going to blog on this highly cerebral level where you’ll need a dictionary and encyclopedias to read, but I will write about some important issues as well as some light-hearted matters we dare not talk about openly.

As always, I welcome any and all opinions and comments so feel free to provide yours. If there is something you’d like me to blog about, let me know at info@justtonyab.com.

I’d like to thank Ron for finding enough value in my writings to give me the opportunity to do this marathon with him. So make sure check out my blog partner, The ManChild Swagga at http://www.anythingurban.net/.

Subscribe to stay tuned and check back during your lunch break.
